Job Title: RN - Telemetry

Shift Details: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description: (Vaya Offer) BLS, ACLS, 2 years Tele/ Med Surg Experience. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility. Will be expected to work 3/5 Winter holidays.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias

Facility & Patient Care Details:

• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
• Patient Diagnoses: It’s a broad mix of acute and tele, we have a large community health population, substance abuse and psy.

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

• Compliance requirements: BLS, ACLS, EKG onboarding exam, Med/Surg Tele competency exam, Med/Surg Tele skills, Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, CORE exams-No NIHSS
• Special Equipment: None

Return Staff Policy: Gone from all UK affiliated facilities for 6 months to return as traveler

License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits. If you are submitting a traveler with a license hit, the submission will be rejected.

Modules: Modules are billable, average 6.5 hours and not included in NBO hours. Modules are completed during orientation and annually, and vary by specialty.
