Specimen Processor I

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor I to perform clinical specimen accessioning, sorting, and data entry in a high-throughput laboratory environment in Mobile, Alabama. The role operates Monday-Friday, 6:00pm-11:00pm, and requires accuracy in handling biological samples and maintaining production standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to designated staging areas
• Identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment to testing facilities
• Enter patient information accurately and timely into systems
• Resolve and document problem specimens according to protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Preferred: 1+ year lab, accessioning, or warehouse experience
