Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of PACU experience License: Current New York License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: EPIC experience, procedural sedation experience, experience with AM admissions/blocks and recovery Description: In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for the management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team within the scope of practice delineated in the state Nurse Practice Act. Direct patient care will be provided, and responsibility may be delegated or assigned to others as appropriate. You will serve as a leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified during the application process. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. You must be available to work holidays as needed. Personal scrubs of any color are permitted, but designs or cartoons are not allowed. Hoodies are also not permitted. COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required. A firm requirement is that travelers must have their own vehicle. Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
