Description: Assist Manufacturing Engineers with all aspects of their daily routines. Key Tasks: PPAP Project Support Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues 8D project studies Documentation updates (system & floor) SPC studies Plant floor layout design Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements Redesign machine components Document Preparation and design (Work Standards, Control Plans, Process Documentation) Gaging - CPK Studies OEE & Process Standards Machining Capability Improvements Tolerances Reduce process variation Education Requirements Include: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0. Additional Requirements: Ability to reliably commute our Bellwood, IL plant (not remote) Experience showing mechanical aptitude a plus Excellent communication skills required - oral and written Good multi-tasking skills Ability to drive for results is essential Ability to do logical problem solvingBasic understanding of engineering principles Willingness and desire to learn. Ability to work independently or in a team setting. Computer literacy is necessary Time Management Skills Pay Range: $21.89 - $29.86
