Dishwasher

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment by ensuring all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and stored. This role supports the Stafili team by maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen, assisting with routine cleaning and stocking, and following all food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing, kitchen, storage, and service areas.
• Assist with kitchen setup, stocking, breakdown, cleaning schedules, and waste removal.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and maintain cleaning supply inventory.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support the Stafili team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely place items on low and high shelving.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment with varying temperatures and extended periods of standing.
