Job Title: CNC Mill Operator Job Description

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to operate CNC and conventional machines to fabricate precision parts. This role involves loading parts, running production lots, monitoring machine operations, and ensuring quality standards are met.

• Operate CNC machining centers and run production lots
• Inspect and monitor parts during production
• Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances
• Ensure quality standards and production targets are met
• Deburr and blend machined parts
• Perform daily machine maintenance, including fluid levels, chip removal, and cleaning
• Maintain accurate paperwork and an organized work area
• Adhere to attendance and safety requirements

• CNC Mill operating experience
• Ability to understand basic dimensions and tolerances from technical drawings/blueprints
• Experience using measuring equipment like calipers and micrometers
• Basic deburring and grinding experience

• Experience with 5-axis machining
• Ability to perform laborious work such as heavy lifting and bending

The position is located in an industrial manufacturing environment where large airplane parts are produced. The machines are loud, and it can get hot when they are running. PPE, including ear plugs and glasses, is required. The role is on the 2nd shift, operating from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
