Staff Auditor

Internship Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics & Finance A Staff Auditor plays a key role in supporting audit and accounting engagements by applying core accounting knowledge and established procedures in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment. This position offers exposure to both public and private clients, with responsibilities that include assisting in audits, reviewing financial records, and supporting tax preparation. Day‑to‑day work involves tasks such as tracing inventory from initial counts to final records, identifying unrecorded liabilities, organizing workpapers, and evaluating internal controls. Staff Auditors also help observe inventory counts, assess inventory valuation, review depreciation methods, and test transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
