Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What You’ll Do Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind. Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs. Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities. Key Responsibilities Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain cleanliness and temperature control; verify expiration dates; dispose of lower‑quality food products. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Passion for and experience with fresh food. Member satisfaction as a top priority. Solution seeker and innovator who tackles obstacles head‑on. Comfortable with change and quickly adapts to different work scenarios. Experience preparing food according to item specifications and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to use digital tools and handheld technology. Preferred Qualifications Food service experience. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Benefits Health benefits: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
