Work where you matter.A Brief OverviewResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned area. Responsible for proper removal of trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste.What You Will DoMaintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas.Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass and replacing light bulbs.Maintains clean/neat floor surfaces as assigned. This may entail, but not limited to: dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming.Dispose of all trash in an appropriate manner including the pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining general cleanliness of trash receptacles.Participates in relocation of office and other general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary.Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
