Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg/Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:30), with weekends required.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing patient care, including administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and working collaboratively within a healthcare team. This position requires the ability to float to similar units as needed based on facility demands.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record patient vitals and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatment plans as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Assist in emergency response and rapid response teams when necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg environment, with telemetry experience preferred.
- Must hold a current RN license and BLS certification.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.
- Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.
