Corrections LVN DaysSeeking a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) for day shifts in a correctional facility in Huntsville, Texas. Provide vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Deliver nursing care and administer medications.Perform IV therapy and collaborate with healthcare teams.Float between units within a 10-30 minute radius as needed.Schedule:Day shifts.36 hours/week guaranteed, with potential overtime.Flexibility for shift rotations and floating required.Qualifications:Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.BLS and IV Therapy Certification.2+ years nursing experience, 1+ year in acute care or med-surg.Experience in LTAC, ER, skilled nursing, or psych preferred.Requirements:COVID-19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.Adaptability and professionalism in challenging situations.Benefits:Potential for continuous employment and drive time compensation.Ideal for an LVN ready to impact correctional healthcare.
