Description
SunArch Academy is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support the nutritional needs of individuals receiving behavioral health treatment in our residential psychiatric setting.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced dietitian looking for a flexible part-time schedule while working alongside a multidisciplinary team and making a direct impact on patient health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Complete nutritional assessments, screenings, and follow-up evaluations
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs
- Monitor nutritional status and adjust recommendations as appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, and clinical teams as part of the overall treatment plan
- Provide nutrition education to patients and staff as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support special dietary needs and therapeutic diet recommendations
- Ensure nutritional services meet applicable regulatory and facility standards
Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Part-time
- Flexible scheduling options available
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
- Nevada licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, residential treatment, inpatient care, SNF, or acute care preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the treatment team
