Senior Technical Accountant

LAO Group is seeking a SEC and Technical Accounting Senior for the DTC area retail client. The role will be responsible for filing all of the K's, Q's and proxy filings as well as any and all technical accounting matters. Responsibilities: Drafts the external SEC filings in Workiva, including but not limited to 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy filings in accordance with US GAAP, SEC standards, and XBRL requirements Prepares the financial statement reporting schedules, tie-outs, reconciliations, and footnote support Performs accounting research and documentation on an as needed basis for significant or unusual transactions, contract review, new accounting standards, and other areas as needed Assists in preparing the quarterly and annual technical accounting analysis, such as ASC 350 and 360 impairment analysis and ASC 280 segment analysis Partners with the Manager on drafting and maintaining global accounting policies and memos Monthly close responsibilities, including but not limited to stock based compensation accounting, equity accounting and reconciliation of shares and ASC 842 administration and accounting Supporting the external audit and tax as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field CPA or CPA tracking 2+ years in public accounting with experience in SEC filings #J-18808-Ljbffr LAO Group, LLC
