Work Environment

In this remote work setting, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your home or any location of your choosing. Our telehealth facility ensures that you can connect with clients easily and securely, providing care at their convenience. We operate seven days a week, offering flexibility in scheduling with hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, which allows for tailored patient engagement on their terms.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and needs.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Providing both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at facilitating healing and personal growth.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Offering crisis intervention and support during emergency situations related to trauma.
  • Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care.
  • Staying current with the latest research in trauma therapy and adapting practices accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma and mental health challenges. Our patient population includes children, adolescents, and adults who seek support for trauma-related disorders and general mental wellness. Your role goes beyond mere treatment; you will be a critical part of their recovery journey, providing them with the tools and understanding necessary to thrive.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Collaboration skills to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
  • A willingness to work with couples as part of their behavioral health services (training provided).
  • Strong character traits such as adaptability, integrity, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, dependent on experience. Additional compensation incentives include:
