What We Expect From TEAM MEMBERS Cheerful. Execute friendly, engaging, and genuine customer service during fast‑moving and busy service hours. Resourceful. Must be able to problem‑solve and find positive resolutions to challenging questions, requests, and/or interactions. Articulate. Must be able to describe, explain, and serve with a smile all menu items to guests. We offer 48 flavor options in stores but have 180+ recipes. Patient. Balance a sense of urgency with being friendly, engaging, and navigating guests through the menu experience. Capable. Must be able to operate a cash register/credit card/point of sale touchscreen and have adequate cash handling skills. Self‑directed and committed. We seek people who manage themselves well, love being part of a team, and enjoy serving the people they work with and the customers they serve. Energetic. Standing, walking, and/or moving for prolonged periods of time with full use of the hands and wrists is required. Hard‑Working. Be able to lift and move at least 25 lbs. and perform cleaning/sanitation tasks according to statewide industry standards. Responsible. Consistently arrive on time for all scheduled shifts throughout the week and follow proper company protocol if unable to do so. We usually have them, and that is a good thing since our teams are super fast and efficient. Plus, we love the conversations and tips our amazing guests give us. Fun and comprehensive training—lots of ice cream eating, talking about flavors, and setting you up for success at the counter. Clearly defined job roles, duties, and on‑shift expectations. Career advancement opportunities and fast promotion growth within our stores. We have several locations opening up in San Diego this year and more to come in 2023. We are open seven days a week, Monday‑Sunday from 10 am‑12 pm at opening and 10‑pm at closing. Specific store hours will depend on the night of the week and the season. We do our best to balance opening, closing, and mid‑shifts for all team members so that everyone has a blend of several different day parts. Honesty, fairness, and positivity.
