Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Physician

Seeking an experienced andmotivated Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Physician to join a collaborative,high-performing trauma team in Visalia, California. This Level III TraumaCenter manages approximately 2,200 annual trauma activations and provides comprehensiveinpatient, consultative, and perioperative care. The physician will workalongside attending surgeons, residents, and intensivists to deliverhigh-quality trauma and emergency surgical services across the ICU and surgicalwards.

Compensation : $400,000-500,000

Responsibilities

• Evaluateand manage trauma patients and emergency general surgery cases.
• Provideinpatient, consultative, and perioperative surgical care.
• Assesscritically ill and injured patients in the ICU and surgical wards.
• Performemergency surgical procedures and operative interventions as clinicallyindicated.
• Participatein patient rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Collaboratewith surgeons, residents, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
• Supportappropriate patient stabilization, transfer, and discharge planning.
• Maintainaccurate medical documentation and uphold high standards of patient safetyand quality care.

Qualifications

• MD or DOdegree.
• BoardCertified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• ActiveCalifornia medical license.
