Warehouse Technician

Warehouse TechnicianMedgene Labs seeks a Warehouse Technician who holds responsibility for overseeing the warehouse and ensuring it is well organized and kept clean and orderly. This individual manages incoming and outgoing products and various other items that are housed in the warehouse. This position is responsible for tracking the inventory of the warehouse and logging incoming freight and handling damaged freight appropriately. This position will report to the Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor.Responsible for shipping sales orders on time as requested by our customers, and entering information into our ERP system. General warehouse operations include counting of inventory, organizing shelves, and general cleaning of space.Loading and unloading trucks; inspecting for damage and reporting damage as necessaryPicking orders as neededWrapping and packing products appropriatelyLabeling, shipping, and receiving products as needed.Performing daily inspections and auditsCleaning, organizing, and maintaining the work area.Operating equipment in a safe mannerMaintaining a safe, compliant work areaCompleting daily documentation as requiredMaintaining responsibility for quality control; not sending out damaged products and not accepting damaged products inPackaging finished product for shipping.Staging finished product for loadingOther duties assigned.Minimum qualifications:Excellent organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of general shipping and inventory processes desirableBasic understanding of OSHA safety regulationsMust be self-motivated and able to work independently.Ability to follow Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to manage multiple priorities and keen attention to detail.Experience with the Microsoft Office suite desiredExperience with ERP/MRP system desiredThe ability to lift a minimum of 30-55 pounds is required.Compensation: Pay based on experience and education.
