Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role invites you to provide vital therapy services and collaborate with a dedicated team, making an impact in an educational setting. The position runs from August 17, 2024, through June 3, 2027, and offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek. Onsite presence is currently required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) with SLP Endorsement required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting (K-12) is desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor interventions and support diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure optimal student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and student support teams as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district standards
