This role begins at our Sebring clinic and will transition to our new Lake Placid location once it opens in the coming months. Candidates must be comfortable working in Sebring initially and relocating their daily work to Lake Placid when the new office launches. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient care through hands‐on clinical support, coordination, and patient education.**How will you make an impact & Requirements**# **Key Responsibilities*** Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, including vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies* Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing* Perform **EKGs**, immunizations, and specimen collection* Prepare, label, and process lab samples and **point‐of‐care tests*** Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration* Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across clinical settings* Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, chronic conditions, and preventive care* Document clinical data and provider instructions accurately in the EHR* Schedule appointments, manage referrals, authorizations, and track test results* Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations, billing, and coding* Maintain exam rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills* Facilitate communication among patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams* Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and compliance standards* Demonstrate excellent guest service to patients and internal team members* Perform other duties as assigned## **Required Skills*** **Injections*** Manual vital signs* EMR experience* EKG competency## **Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent* **1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience*** Open to all specialties; primary care experience not required* Strong communication, patient‐service, and teamwork skills* Ability to prioritize and manage recurring clinical tasks* Must be comfortable **starting in Sebring and transitioning to Lake Placid*** Reliable transportation required**#**MPMPG #J-18808-Ljbffr
