TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Correctional RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60608!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Correctional Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical/Surgical. Correctional experience required. License: Must have an active Registered Nurse license. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Experience with high-volume medication pass and computerized documentation. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge. Ability to conduct wound care and manage peripheral lines. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a correctional setting with a focus on Medical/Surgical care. Shifts are 3 nights per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required. Requests for time off must be limited to 5 days maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days. No time off is allowed on holidays or the weekends adjacent to holidays. Clinicians may be required to float to different units based on facility needs. Flexibility to float within specialty and occasionally to other areas is essential. Two professional references from recent employers are required prior to the start of employment. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to adhere to all compliance measures and timelines. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary to support a collaborative care environment.
