Role Description: T his is a full-time, hybrid Mental Health Therapist role based in Saint Clair Shores, Flint or Taylor, MI. The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation. The therapist will coordinate care with other members of the clinical team, participate in case consultations, and make appropriate referrals to community resources when needed. The role also involves monitoring client progress, adjusting interventions, and supporting clients in developing coping skills and resilience. Participation in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development is expected. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health conditions and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Experience with Treatment Planning, including assessing needs, setting goals, and monitoring progress. Experience in outpatient mental health setting is ideal Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field (or in progress with appropriate supervision). Full Licensure Require: LMSW or LPC Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive care. Ability to work on-site and off site, manage a clinical caseload, and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
