Job Description UC Health is hiring a PRN Equipment Technician for the respiratory therapy department at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Shift is varied. Responsibilities Responsible for processing and cleaning all respiratory equipment. This includes disassembling and re-assembling various types of equipment. Conducts performance and calibration tests on re-assembled equipment. Monitors quality control on cleaning processes. Rounds to critical care and med/surg units to obtain soiled respiratory therapy equipment. Disinfects respiratory therapy equipment. Assembles respiratory therapy equipment. Conducts performance and calibration tests on respiratory therapy equipment. Receives shipments. Unloads and verifies correct quantity. Maintains stock rooms/rotates stock. Performs periodic stock inventories and orders supplies as needed. Performs periodic inventory of disposable and permanent supplies. Maintains records. Identifies problems and issues and communicates them to appropriate individuals. Other duties assigned. Qualifications Minimum required: High School Diploma or GED.
