Social Media Manager

Creative and strategic, the full-time Social Media Manager will bring the Microsoft Learn voice to life across various platforms by writing engaging content, scripting short-form videos, and shaping audience-specific campaigns to connect with learners worldwide. Key responsibilities Write and review social-first copy across platforms, ensuring alignment with the Microsoft Learn voice and optimization for each channel Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Manager and production teams to shape video-first social series strategy, including scripting and creative direction Lead audience-specific social campaigns and co-lead social strategy for major Microsoft Learn events, defining content angles and real-time storytelling Required qualifications Master's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field AND 1+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, content strategy, or creator marketing OR Bachelor's degree in the same fields AND 2+ years of relevant experience Experience creating content tailored for social media platforms, understanding creator communication styles across various channels Established copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different platforms Experience scripting for short-form video content with a focus on storytelling Proven ability to manage and moderate social communities with empathy and consistency
