Specialist, IT Asset Management - Part Time

Class Description The purpose of this class is to provide technical andadministrative support of hardware and software assets, fromplanning and procurement to end of life, across the college. Minimum Requirements High School diploma/GED, candidates currently enrolled in collegestudying Information Technology or Associate’s Degree inInformation Technology preferred. Experience supporting technology,tracking assets, and generating reports preferred. Class Specific Essential Duties Initiate, design and develop asset reports to meet specificneeds of groups and individuals. Collaborate with all areas of IT to maintain and expand adatabase of asset information. Perform inventory checks and reconcile newly received IT assetsagainst purchase orders. Record inventory information supporting the full lifecycle ofassets. Work with other members of IT to process and document thedisposal of assets that reached end-of-life.
