Senior Media Manager

The Senior Media Manager is fully multi-modal across all digital channels. Independently plans and buys across all channels including paid social, paid search, programmatic, display, video/CTV, audio, DOOH, and emerging channels. Leads insight-driven recommendations, develops platform test plans, partners with offshore execution for efficiency, and connects optimization insights to business outcomes. Exposure and training on traditional channels (e.g., print, radio, linear TV training is dependent on types of accounts worked on). Supports QA process. Leads vendor conversations with clear communication of client goals, KPIs, etc.; leads new partner exploration for the planning process; and oversees the RFP process. Performs final QA of flowchart updates and is accountable for budget tracking in flowcharts and Prisma. Responsibilities Collaborate with a full team to develop unique campaign strategies under the supervision of a Media Director Executes deliverables as defined by scope Upholds agency processes and compliance Incorporate web analytic insights and media performance throughout recommendations Oversee the execution of client’s media plans, guide and delegate tasks to team and review for accuracy Establish campaign success metrics based off client’s objectives Oversee media channel reporting and pull cross channel insights to drive optimizations and client recommendations, with support and approvals by senior team members Support on media planning and strategy Lead team brainstorms for client renewal or new business Ability to run, schedule and coordinate client meetings Media specific thought leadership Process documentation Support in training and onboarding of direct reports Manages and mentors Media Analysts and/or Media Strategists as assigned. Responsible for weekly 1:1s, day-to-day guidance, feedback on work quality and development, and escalating performance or workload issues as needed. Supports those leading client status calls and participates as needed, heavy assist in presenting planning presentations and reporting presentations. Competitive spending pulls, Keen inputs, YouGov audience pulls, support creating tactical and platform slides as needed. Skills & Abilities Manage the media process from recommendation to reporting Translate marketing objectives into clear media recommendation strategies Management of media across multiple campaigns at any given time Proactively suggesting ways to innovate and position ourselves to remain competitive Ability to QA and oversee media campaign execution Strong client communication both in written and verbal form, able to present media performance with limited support Ability to manage multiple clients Strong paid social media platform experience; deep expertise in Meta and TikTok is crucial, with experience across other platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat) considered a major bonus Ability to present ideas confidently Inspire, motivate, and mentor more junior team members Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise and elevate as needed Qualifications Works from the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5+ years experience Proven track record of supporting and co-leading media strategy, planning and buying. Demonstrates highly organized approach. Confident with client interaction and presenting. Ability to think on feet, comfortable answering tough client questions. Develops clear insights and implications from campaign performance. Delivers strategic media plans, measurement planning, business impact modeling (e.g. Keen MMM), proactive management of planning and buying quality, and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and leading day-to-day account management as appropriate. Base Compensation Range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location.
