CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Warehouse Associate candidates in the Phoenix, AZ area. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and/or packing orders, label printing and inspecting products for orders, and utilizing the specific equipment to pick, pack, and kit products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product are selected and loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.
• Pack orders for shipment via parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on required forms and records.
• Apply proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets.
• Mark and label shipping containers and products in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items, inventory discrepancies, or quality variances to the supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate, complete, and free from damage.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to verify packaging specifications are met.
• Perform and document quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Participate in inventory and cycle count activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Ensure the facility remains inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.
• Communicate and report incidents, issues, or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks and special assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including stooping, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess steel-toe shoes and wear metatarsal foot protection as required.
• Action-oriented with the ability to take on new opportunities and challenges with urgency, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working with others to achieve shared objectives.
• Demonstrates strong decision-making skills by making timely and effective decisions that support business goals.
