Assistant Project Manager - Retail Real Estate

APM Role Supporting High-Profile Retail Assets

Our client is a publicly traded real estate investment trust with over 100 properties nationwide and approximately 3,400 tenants. With a strong presence across key U.S. markets, they specialize in retail and mixed-use environments, backed by a stable platform and collaborative, team-oriented culture.

Job Description

• Coordinate tenant build-outs, tracking schedules and key milestones
• Support permitting processes and maintain project documentation
• Partner with PMs on lease execution, work letters, and construction readiness
• Act as liaison between leasing, property management, and operations teams
• Assist with tenant transitions including move-outs and onboarding

The Successful Applicant

• 2-5 years of project coordination or construction-related experience
• Exposure to retail or commercial build-outs (landlord, tenant, or 3rd party)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
