Locations: Denton, TX Job Type: Contract (6+ Months)
Description
The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs advanced vocational nursing work. Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health and/or Behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
- Perform computer data entry Receive full training.
- Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
Requirements
- Must possess valid LVN license.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience
- Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
- Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
- Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
- Must complete facility and HHSC required training.
