We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at St. John's Lutheran Community in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the provision of nursing services in accordance with our community's mission and philosophy

• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team

• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as St. John's Lutheran Community policies and procedures

• Foster open communication and collaboration with all staff members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

• Recruit, train, and mentor new staff members, while providing ongoing support and guidance to existing staff

• Manage and coordinate the delivery of care services, including medication administration, wound care, and pain management

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings to drive continuous improvement

• Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and dignity for all residents, staff, and family members

Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing or related field , with a minimum of 3 years of experience years of experience in nursing administration or management

• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our residents and their families
