To provide leadership for a successful team. To promote academic as well as athletic success of student athletes. To assist with maintaining the softball program. To maintain positive communication with patrons and parents of athletes and potential athletes. To ensure compliance with MSHSAA in conjunction with the coaching staff. To supervise student‑athletes in conjunction with the coaching staff. Qualifications Prefer candidates with experience in coaching or supervising students. Requires ability to work with a multi‑ethnic, multi‑cultural student population. Must meet Missouri State High School Athletic Association (MSHSAA) requirements for the position, including: Educator certification requirements (Preferred – Missouri teaching certificate or Missouri substitute teaching certificate). Sports First Aid. The NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course (if not a Missouri teacher certified). All applicants must apply through Affton's PowerSchool Applicant Tracking website at .
