Pay rate: $15.50
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm 2nd shift: 3:30pm-11:30pm
Responsibilities
- Mounting tractor tires on machines.
- Heavy lifting required, dirty and hot environment.
- Perform tire repair and replacement services for customers' vehicles.
- Diagnose tire issues such as punctures, leaks, and tread wear.
- Repair punctures using patching or plug methods, or recommend tire replacement when necessary.
- Mount and balance new tires onto rims using appropriate machinery.
- Conduct tire rotations and wheel alignments as needed.
- Inspect tires for damage, tread wear, and proper inflation.
- Provide friendly and informative customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in tire repair and changing preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Familiarity with tire repair tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy tires and equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
