They shape the way ministry is done every day.
The Worship Pastor/Director will provide spiritual, strategic, and creative leadership for the worship ministry while helping cultivate a culture that inspires people to connect with God and engage in the mission of the church. The ideal candidate will be :- A spiritually mature leader who naturally disciples and develops people.
- A gifted worship leader who can lead confidently from the platform while building strong teams behind the scenes.
- A relational leader who earns trust quickly and thrives in a collaborative staff environment.
- An organized and proactive ministry builder who can create healthy systems and sustain excellence.
- Someone who embraces The Journey's culture of ownership, honesty, and empowerment.
- Lead and oversee all worship ministry environments and weekend worship experiences.
- Recruit, develop, and shepherd worship and production volunteers.
- Plan and execute worship services in collaboration with church leadership.
- Build and maintain healthy ministry systems, communication, and team structure.
- Develop future worship leaders, musicians, and ministry volunteers.
- Help foster a culture of spiritual growth, excellence, and teamwork throughout the ministry.
