HR Generalist

Job Description HR Generalist Chicago, IL Competitive Compensation 5-10 Years of Experience A global provider of automated material handling and intralogistics solutions is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to serve as a key resource for employees and leadership across a highly skilled workforce. This role will oversee employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, talent development, and HR operations while partnering with teams across North America and Europe. Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective actions, and leave administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Administer benefits programs and maintain relationships with external providers and business partners.
- Coordinate with outside recruiters, legal counsel, and other third-party resources.
- Drive employee engagement, career development, and retention initiatives.
- Adapt global HR policies into practical and compliant U.S. practices.
- Support immigration and visa processes for international employees.
- Partner closely with leadership on organizational and people-related initiatives.
- Provide HR support to a workforce consisting primarily of engineers, technicians, and field service personnel.
- 5-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Strong background in employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations.
- Experience managing leave administration, performance management, and policy implementation.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- PHR certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical workforces is highly desirable.
- Immigration and visa experience is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across cultures and all levels of the organization.
