Maintenance CustodianYou are responsible for meeting with the school's administration for your specific daily job duties.Qualifications21 years of ageSkilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities, equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacingReports To:Building evaluator or designeeSupervises:NoneJob Goal:To be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas of the site building plant, facilities, grounds and equipmentTerm:Twelve (12) monthsSalary:Custodian Salary Schedule-NIVPerformance Responsibilities:Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian, building evaluator, or custodial supervisor.Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies.Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for variousReport safety hazards toSubmit requests for janitorial materials, supplies, equipment as neededWork cooperatively with other custodial staff, head custodian, building evaluator, custodial supervisor, and other school district personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.Adhere to schedule for routine and special tasks as approved by the building evaluator and headAttend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluatorPerform other related duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluatorFollow federal, state, and Rapides Parish School District policies
