Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team in Newton. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facility equipment and systems.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices and new technologies in maintenance.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, mechanical) are a plus.
