Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Syracuse, NY

Job Type: Contract (14 Weeks)

Schedule:

• 40 Hours/Week
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview: We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care/inpatient setting. Oncology experience is highly preferred. The role involves collaborating with physicians, performing patient assessments, and ensuring comprehensive and compliant clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Accurately document evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care plans
• Utilize prescriptive authority in collaboration with physicians
• Deliver care with minimal supervision in an inpatient setting
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care and interdisciplinary communication

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License/Registration
• NP specialty certification aligned with practice area
• CPR and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete pre-employment health clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior inpatient experience
• Oncology experience
