Where You Will Work


:

Join or team of highly engaged nurses on the Mother Baby Unit in the Family Birthing Center at Advocate Sherman Hospital. Mother-Baby nurses play a huge role in helping families transition safely and confidently into parenthood. They ensure both mother and newborn are healthy, while also providing education and support that sets the foundation for care at home. Our Family Birthing Center has 10 Labor Beds/ 5 Antepartum/ 10 Triage/ 2OB ORs. 24 Mother Baby beds and 16 Intermediate Care Nursery Beds. 150-175 deliveries per month.

Were Looking For:

• 
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  
  



• 
  Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  
  



• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  
  



• 
  NRP
  
  

What Youll Do:

• 
  As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  
  



• 
  Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
