What we’re looking for You will provide excellent customer service and accurately process financial transactions in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will support the bank’s customer‑service standards across our multi‑branch network, promote banking products and services, and safeguard bank assets by following established fraud‑prevention, cash‑handling, and security procedures. What you’ll do Obtain customer identification, signatures, and other required information; record and process all transactions per regulations and procedures. Examine cash, checks, and other documents to verify authenticity, detect potential fraud or suspicious activity, and protect against financial loss; follow escalation procedures for unusual transactions. Assist customers professionally during transactions, provide accurate information, and refer to supervisors or appropriate departments when needed. Balance drawer at the end of each shift and report any outages to the Teller Supervisor. What you must have Customer service and cash‑handling experience. High school diploma or GED. Successful completion of teller essentials training program after hire. What might set you apart Previous teller experience. The role requires frequent use of telephone, computer, and other office equipment. The employee typically spends most of the day seated at a personal desk. The job functions are performed with general supervision and require teamwork and independent work skills. Regular and reliable attendance with variable hours is required.
