Location: Remote (Nearshore – Canada)

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned MuleSoft Architect with good telecom domain expertise to lead the design and delivery of large-scale integration solutions across network, OSS/BSS, customer, and field operations ecosystems. The architect will drive API-led modernization, ensure platform governance, and support mission-critical integrations for a Tier-1 telecom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for telecom OSS/BSS systems.
• Design scalable APIs across System, Process, and Experience layers aligned to API-led connectivity.
• Develop integration blueprints for customer onboarding, network operations, provisioning, billing, and order management.
• Ensure reusable assets, data models, and patterns optimized for high-volume telecom workloads.

• Guide teams in building high-performance Mule 4 APIs and DataWeave transformations.
• Review designs and code to ensure compliance with integration and security best practices.
• Lead performance tuning for real-time and near-real-time telecom pipelines.

• Define API lifecycle standards, versioning, and governance processes.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, CloudHub/Runtime Fabric deployments, and environment strategy.
• Ensure strong security posture: OAuth2, SSO, encrypted payloads, and network-level controls.

• Work with architects across OSS, BSS, network, engineering, and customer operations.
• Translate complex telecom requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Provide thought leadership on API strategy, platform roadmap, and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in integration architecture; 5+ years of deep MuleSoft experience.
• Telecom background integrating OSS/BSS platforms (e.g., Amdocs, Netcracker, Ericsson, Nokia, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP).
• Expertise in API-led connectivity, RAML/OAS, DataWeave, Mule 4.
• Strong understanding of event-driven patterns, microservices, caching, and message queues (Kafka/SQS).
• Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, hybrid deployments.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
