Job Description Job Description Join Our Team as a Urologist We are currently in search of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to become part of our dynamic, hospital-centered practice located in the greater Phoenix area. This role is perfect for a driven physician who thrives in inpatient urology, enjoys tackling complex cases, and is eager to work across multiple hospitals in a rapidly expanding metropolitan area, which ranks as the fifth largest city in the United States. Position Highlights Inpatient-Only Role: Focus on urology hospitalist responsibilities, with optional outpatient clinic opportunities available if desired. Weekend Call Shifts: Expect to cover 8 or more weekend shifts annually (Friday 1:00 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m.), with coverage spanning approximately 3-7 hospitals each weekend, supported by 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a strong clinical team. Financial Support: All licensing and credentialing fees will be fully covered by the practice. Clinical Team & Services You will be joining a large, collaborative team that includes: Urology Specialists: A diverse group of experienced physicians. Urogynecology Experts: A dedicated team focused on female pelvic health. Support Staff: Over 12 Advanced Practice Providers assisting with both inpatient and outpatient care. Our areas of expertise encompass: Prostate cancer treatment, including Da Vinci robotic surgery. GreenLight laser procedures and vasectomies. Management of incontinence and female vaginal prolapse. Laparoscopic nephrectomy. Advanced therapies such as ThermiVa, Rezum, and Urolift for BPH and pelvic health. Role Expectations The Urology Hospitalist will be responsible for: Providing weekend inpatient coverage and rounding on hospitalized urology patients. Managing post-operative patients, handling inpatient consultations, and performing urologic surgeries and procedures. Collaborating closely with APPs and the broader team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care. Incorporating outpatient clinic sessions based on personal interest and group requirements. Candidate Profile Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. Open to both new graduates and seasoned physicians. Welcoming both AMG and IMG candidates. A keen interest in modern, technology-driven urologic care and complex inpatient management.
