Compensation

2nd Shift Shipper/Receiver

Must have a minimum 6 months experience driving fork or grab trucks in a warehouse setting.

• Checks orders and locates material in warehouse.
• Drives fork or grab truck to move material from warehouse to truck.
• Makes up Bills of Lading as necessary.
• Prepares tally sheets as necessary.
• Loads and unloads trucks manually, or with power trucks.
• Checks receiving against purchase orders, verifies items, and quantity. Maintains daily shipping and receiving logs, prepares receiving reports, and all necessary paperwork to release trucks.
• Places received materials in proper warehouse location.
• Operates walkie power floor sweeper or manually sweeps and shovels debris in cleaning warehouse area.
• Operates trucks to service production areas as necessary.
• Gets fuel, oil, etc. for trucks daily. Inspects vehicle for proper operating condition.
• Performs activities in production areas as directed by supervisor.
• Reports time production, etc. as directed.
• Uses safe working practices and reports hazardous conditions at all times.
• Takes occasional inventory counts. Takes monthly spot physicals.
• Order trucks for shipping products as necessary.
• Train new employees as necessary.
