You will create and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, test, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills necessary to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a proven ability to create quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that create business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation.Responsibilities:Coordinate tool automation and host enhancements by partnering with automation developers and domain experts to deliver projects on scheduleGather, prioritize, and document requirements for new automation systems and enhancements across 300mm fabs globallyTest and support manufacturing and automation software releases, including upgrades and resiliency improvementsFix and resolve automation and software issues in a daily support role, including 24x7 on-call rotation Maintain user documentation and provide regular project status reporting to managementMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of enterprise software development experience. Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies.Software testing experience within manufacturing or automation environments.Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting or integrating automation systems in a semiconductor or manufacturing environmentKnowledge of software architecture, system integration, and automation tool frameworksExperience crafting user documentation and training materials for software releasesProven ability to solve complex software and automation issues across multiple systemsExperience supporting global or multi-site operations with standardized reporting and metricsAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
