What You'll Do

As our Accounting Specialist, you'll help support the day-to-day financial operations across our family of companies.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies

• Assist with financial reporting and budgeting

• Support payroll and related accounting functions

• Process various accounting transactions accurately and efficiently

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

• Assist with audits and special projects

• Partner with the CFO and leadership team to support business operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• 1-3 years Previous accounting experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience using accounting software is a plus

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Scranton, PA office.
