Job Title

Travel: RN Neonatal ICU - Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neonatal patients
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Care for a diverse neonatal population including premature infants, infants of diabetic mothers, infants with respiratory distress, and post-date infants
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established nursing guidelines
• Float to PICU or Postpartum floor as determined by patient volumes
• Orient on day shift during the initial orientation week; must be available the entire orientation week

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
• At least 2 full years of NICU experience
• Ventilator competency required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 years of experience in a NICU Level 3 or higher
• TNCC certification
• PALS certification
• Flexible and positive personality well-suited to a dynamic, acuity-driven environment
