Overview RN Behavioral Health Charge Nurse role at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. Day-shift leadership position located in the Psych ED with sign-on bonus potential. Department: Behavioral Health. Responsibilities Serve as Charge Nurse RN during assigned shifts; provide leadership while delivering direct patient care Coordinate staffing, patient flow, and unit operations Perform comprehensive psychiatric nursing assessments Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition changes Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and structured care environment Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and care teams Department and Units Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) – 23-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit 4A Unit – 12-bed adult behavioral health unit Emergency Department Psychiatric Pods (North Pod and West Pod) – Two 6-bed units serving adults, adolescents, and children in acute psychiatric crisis Nursing staff are cross-trained across all areas Essential Qualifications Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent formal education

1. 3 years of RN experience (behavioral health or inpatient experience preferred)
2. years of experience in a clinical specialty
