Coyne Veterinary Center in Westfield, IN is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join our growing practice! This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to remain hands-on in medicine while taking on a meaningful leadership role within a collaborative, high-quality practice.

Our state-of-the-art facility offers a wide range of services, including wellness and preventive care, surgery, and urgent care, giving our doctors the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and make an impact every day. As our Lead Veterinarian, you’ll help guide the medical team, support the continued growth and development of our doctors, and partner with practice leadership to maintain a positive culture and high standard of medicine — all while continuing to practice the medicine you love!

What The Role Entails:

• Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and urgent care to our patients
• Serve as a clinical leader and trusted resource for the veterinary team
• Support, coach, and mentor fellow veterinarians while encouraging continued learning and professional development
• Help maintain high standards of medicine and consistency in patient care
• Partner with practice leadership to support the continued growth and success of the hospital
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture where doctors and team members feel supported
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide compassionate care to pets and their families
• Lead by example while remaining actively involved in day-to-day patient care

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced small animal veterinarian comfortable practicing independently
• Strong communicator who enjoys supporting and developing other doctors
• Collaborative and approachable leadership style
• Comfortable with a mix of general practice and urgent care cases
• Interest in helping shape hospital culture, medical standards, and continued growth
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, but not required for the right experienced veterinarian who is ready to take the next step
