About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness in Salinas, CA, as an Overnight Custodian! This role is essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members during the night hours, ensuring they have a top-notch experience when they arrive.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of gym equipment and facilities to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
• Provide exceptional service to members and help maintain a positive gym atmosphere.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Ability to work overnight shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Thursday.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
