Job Description CEdge has an opportunity for a System Administrator located in Scott AFB, IL. EstimatedStart Date: 1 Nov Objective: Support the Clients system throughensuring secure, efficient, and scalable operations across NIPR and SIPRenvironments, maintaining high availability, compliance, and operationalresilience. Key Responsibilities Manage operating system patching, infrastructure upgrades, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists. Maintainand update system architecture documentation, including hardware lists, topology diagrams, and database design documents. Implementand maintain robust security baselines (NIST, CNSS, DISA STIG, USTRANSCOM)across all environments. Ensurecompliance and requirements for data protection and privacy. Configureand maintain security logging, structured auditing, distributed tracing,and runtime telemetry. Leveragemanagement tools (Jira, Confluence) for structured engineering changecontrol, backlog refinement, and workflow alignment. Required Qualifications Experiencesupporting federal or DoD systems, including secure operations. Proficiencycloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure). Strongunderstanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements. Experiencewith monitoring, logging, and incident response tools and practices. Excellentdocumentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Abilityto work onsite/ client site delivery Location: ClientOnsite Requirements Clearance - Secret Clearance Mid Foundational with one of the following: Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree program.
