Join a leading food manufacturing company in Salem, MA! We are seeking reliable and hardworking  Sanitation Associates to help maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas according to company procedures and food safety standards
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wash floors, walls, and production surfaces
• Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools
• Remove waste and dispose of materials in accordance with company guidelines
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and food safety regulations
• Complete sanitation documentation and cleaning logs accurately
• Assist with preparing production areas for the next shift
• Report any maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, cleaning, or food manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working around food production equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction
