About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (17:00 - 23:30) Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience, experience in Level 1 trauma centers License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission Certifications: EPIC, BCLS Must-Have: Experience using Da Vinci Xi Robot Experience in either Neuro or Ortho Proficient in Level 1 trauma surgical procedures Description: Join a team in a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room. Perform a variety of surgeries, including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant. Provide care during surgical procedures. Circulate while focusing on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases. Work closely with the surgical team. Maintain patient records using EPIC. Call is required Monday through Friday from 21:00 to 06:30. Weekend call is required from 06:30 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 06:30. Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs. Interdisciplinary support available on the unit. Daily census includes 45-50 surgical procedures. Responsibilities include caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Professional references are required from a manager or director. Must have experience with surgical services lines, in either Neuro or Ortho. Candidates are required to complete credentialing processes promptly. No coworker references are accepted.
